Introducing yourself is always challenging, even if we are often required to do it in today’s society.

A name and a handshake might suffice initially, but personal and professional connections often require a deeper dive.

I want to share with you how to go beyond the superficial and craft a description of yourself that reflects the richness and complexity of who you are.

SHARING YOUR NARRATIVE

As humans, what we really are cannot be limited by the snapshot you provide with a description.

If we want to describe our real essence, we should include things like:

  • Actions: Begin by highlighting what you do. Are you a passionate educator, a meticulous coder, or a budding entrepreneur? Mention your professional pursuits or hobbies that showcase your skills and interests.
  • The Why Within: Once you’ve established what you do, you can delve into your truest purpose. What really drives you? Is it the joy of creation, the desire to make a difference, or the pursuit of knowledge? Sharing your core motivations paints a more vivid picture.
  • The Compass of Values: Then you should describe your ideals and values. Do you prioritize honesty and integrity? Are you driven by compassion or a thirst for innovation? Expressing your guiding…
